The Glass Lid — $35
What it is
One tempered-glass lid, sized to fit both The Skillet and The Dutch Oven. It has a stainless rim and a stay-cool knob, and the glass lets you watch a simmer, a reduction, or bread rising in the pot without lifting the lid and dumping the heat and steam you just built up.
We designed the line to work together on purpose. Rather than sell you two lids, we made one that fits both pans — because the skillet and Dutch oven share the same rim diameter. That's the "one thing done right" idea applied to the whole set.

Why buy it
A lid turns a skillet into a steamer, a simmer pot, and a braising pan. Cover vegetables to steam them, trap heat to melt cheese, or hold a low simmer without splatter. The Dutch oven already comes with its heavy cast lid for oven work; the glass lid is the one you want on the stovetop when you'd like to actually see what's happening. At $35 it's the small add-on that makes both pans more useful — not a product we'd push if you didn't need it.
Compatibility and care
The glass lid is stovetop and low-oven safe (to 400°F at the knob). For high-heat oven bread, use the Dutch oven's cast lid instead. Hand-wash the glass; unlike the iron, the lid can take normal dish soap and a sponge without any fuss. It won't rust, and it carries the same lifetime-minded standard as the rest of the line — if the rim or knob ever fails, we'll make it right. See our guarantee.
